Bath College

Bath College recently underwent significant upgrades to its plant rooms at both the City Centre campus and the Somerton campus in Radstock. The project involved the installation of new commercial gas fired boilers, pumps, pipework, and flue systems, ensuring that the college’s heating and hot water systems are efficient and reliable for the foreseeable future. These upgrades are a testament to the college’s commitment to providing a comfortable and sustainable learning environment for its students and staff.

To minimise disruption to the college’s operations, all the works were meticulously planned and executed during the Easter and Summer holidays. This strategic timing allowed the project to be completed without interfering with the academic calendar, ensuring that students could continue their studies uninterrupted. The coordination of the project during these periods required careful planning and collaboration among contractors, college administration, and facilities management teams.

The completion of these plant room replacements not only enhances the operational efficiency of the college but also aligns with modern standards for energy conservation and environmental responsibility.
